Short Bio

Jonas Leipziger studied Jewish Studies and Protestant Theology in Neuendettelsau, Heidelberg, Hanover (NH), and Jerusalem. Since 2015, he is Research and Teaching Assistant at the Chair for Bible and Jewish Exegesis at the Heidelberg Center for Jewish Studies. From 2016 to 2018, he has been Research Associate in the CRC “Material Textcultures” of Heidelberg University, where his PhD Dissertation on Reading Practices in Ancient Judaism emerged (supervisor: Professor Dr. H. Liss, second supervisor: Professor Dr. J. Chr. Gertz).
